Climate change is one of the greatest challenges to humanity, threatening the survival and wellbeing of our planet and its inhabitants. Although the Paris Agreement demonstrates strong commitment to green, low-carbon development from countries around the world, global climate governance and sustainable development still has a long way to go, which requires all stakeholders to get on board and work together to pursue win-win solutions. To build a community of shared future for mankind, we need more wisdom, more actions, and more talents.

It is against this backdrop that, the Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development (ICCSD) of Tsinghua University was established. Focusing on strategy and policy research, international dialogue & exchange, and education& training, ICCSD strives to become a top think tank, providing smart solutions to China’s low-carbon transition and global climate governance.

ICCSD looks forward to working with global partners to promote ecological and global governance and embrace a green, low-carbon, clean, and beautiful future for all!
